§ 58-32. Alteration of grade prohibited.

No person shall alter the grade of any street, sidewalk, curb, gutter or public ground or any part thereof in the village unless authorized to do so by the village board or the street committee. All such alterations shall be recorded in the office of the village clerk-treasurer, by the clerk-treasurer or the officer authorizing the alteration. All alterations or removal of curb and gutter shall be repaired or replaced within 30 days of such alteration. Such repair and replacement shall be subject to the approval of the department of streets and utilities.
